Set in Windsor, England in November 1948.  Richard Davenport may be a famous and talented murder mystery author, but he is not exactly the best man. His family and house staff are all too aware of his rather disturbing personality. He is moody, unpredictable, and just generally unpleasant. So, when he calls them all together for a family dinner at his mansion, they are all rightfully suspicious. That suspicion only grows when Richard makes a startling announcement. He is changing his will to cut his entire family and staff out completely and on top of that, he has written a new manuscript that apparently names one of the people in the house as a cold blooded murderer. By the time dessert is served, Richard is dead and everyone else is left to figure out which of them is the real culprit.
