The MoezArt summer theatre arts camp is something I look forward to every summer.  The leaders do a great job making the play come together, while also making the experience fun by playing improv and other theatre-related games. The shows are a challenge, but they are always very fun to perform. The theatre camp experience is one to be remembered.

Mark Gintz

Summer camp participant

My first summer camp, I played Stanley in Stanley the Stalwart Dragon. It was my first lead role and I was scared to death. The staff was encouraging and helpful. By the end of the two weeks, I fell in love with being the lead and working with new castmates and new directors. Summer camp is a great place to try new roles, meet new people from all over the valley, learn more about different aspects of theater such as costumes or sets, and enjoy the casual game, snack, and hang out times. Now that I have learned to love theater, one of my favorite parts of summer camp is the challenge of putting on a new show in just two weeks. Even if you are not sure if theater is your thing, Summer Camp is a place you can feel comfortable giving it a try. I have not missed one summer camp in 5 years.
